1. Introduction
Language is fundamentally a social process. This is a very basic idea, perhaps even an obvious one. After all, we would have no language if we need not to have communicated meaningfully with other humans.
In order to understand how language develops under the effect of social factors, I will explore it in some depth. This essay mainly discuss about language is more social than linguistic by give several examples to approve it. Through the development of Latin, German and English and their influence on the other languages, we will vaguely get the conclusion from it.
Such theories were generally accepted by theorists, and in this essay I will used examples from history, religious and practice to approve it.
2. General Review
Before we argue for the evaluation of language is social rather than linguistic, it is necessary for us to have a clear definition of what a Language is. According to the different views given by many linguists, we generally can get a vague idea of what a language is. A language is considered to be a system of communicating with other people using sounds, symbols and words in expressing a meaning, idea or thought. This language can be used in many forms, primarily through oral and written communications as well as using expressions through body language.
