The only thing I really liked was the moon because it was the closest thing I could see in space. If I saw an article on space or planets, I would never read the articles, I would just slowly saunter through the pages and stare at the pictures. To see all the fascinating colors of the different planets and the rings around Saturn was all I cared to gain from the article. I had no idea about what captivating things were beyond our atmosphere, until now.As I walked toward the middle of the baseball field, I looked up to the sky to catch a glimpse of what I might be looking at. I was a little disappointed that there was no moon out that night because I was looking forward to seeing it up close. My teacher said the view was awesome and even though I’ve never really seen it up close, I’ve always been fascinated by it. All the crater holes and maybe even huge gray mountains. I didn’t see many stars out and I began wondering just what were we going to look at. It wouldn’t be any fun to just look at stars. They’re too far... |
