The main definition in the paper I have chose to write is Gun Control. Gun control in essence means to stop the wrong people from getting a hold of guns. The law is made to check the backgrounds of all persons attempting to buy and sell guns. If a person has a history of violence, the gun will not be sold to him or her. This makes sure that less crimes with guns will be committed.
A weapon of destruction can be a gun. An automatic rifle, or an automatic shotgun would be classified into this category. These types of weapons can inflict great amounts of damage in very short periods of time. If a person had one, he or she could walk around the streets and obliterate every object that he or she did not like. These are extremely hard to get legally, but there are many of them floating around illegally. A harsher law against them would get rid of a large amount of these destructive weapons.
A harsher law means to make the punishment of a crime greater. If laws on gun misuse become stricter, then not so many crimes would happen with them. People would take better care of the weapons they own, and would make sure nobody could just take the weapon and misuse it. This may prevent a child from getting a gun, because the parents would not take a chance, knowing at least one of them would go to jail if their child got the gun and used it for any purpose.
