The reason that Lady Guinevere married Arthur, was for protection for her and for her land (Lienas). Prince Malagant threatend to fight for Lienas if no one signed it over to him, but what happens? Arthur fought for what he believed in, he fought to keep his town safe, and to protect his love, Queen Guinevere. What I am about to prove is what the purpose of fighting is.Malagant would turn Guineveres people into slaves, and they would burn houses down, and take all their money and priceless goods, but for the fact that Guinevere and Arthur didn t sign Lienas over to him. Malagant never hesitated for a second. Arthur owned Lienas now, and Malagant was furious, he took attack to Lienas and burned it down, but he left the people alive. Arthur took charge and made Malagant and his army retreat. After retreating from Arthur s army Malagant out smarted Camelot and attacked in broad day. Malagant made Arthur choose to live and bow to him, or to die and give up Camelot. Arthur made Malagant think that he was going to bow, but he didn t and attacked, and was killed. He fought for all of these, Land, Love and just because he felt he needed to. In conclusion people fight for what ever reason they feel like, but some fight for more dumber reasons than others. I think King Arthur was a brave man, and I think people should take what he did into mind. B... |
